Our Wedding Venue Near Oxfordshire
Rich in royal history, Missenden Abbey provides a stunning setting for your wedding day. The 12th-century Abbey retains its castle-like features, such as turrets, arched windows, and grand entrances, to perfectly frame your wedding pictures. The Ceremony
We offer three unique spaces for your wedding ceremony, civil ceremony or civil partnership in Oxford and Oxfordshire. Choose between the fairytale Garden Room with stained glass windows filling the room with light. Feel closer to nature with our Woodland Suite and enjoy the backdrop of our riverbed and ancient cedar tree. Or we can accommodate large wedding parties in our starlight marquee. If the weather allows, you could even share your vows under our magnificent 400-year-old cedar tree.
Post-Ceremony Drinks Reception
Our picturesque location makes us an ideal spot for wedding receptions. For happy couples marrying in nearby churches, you can continue the celebrations back at Missenden Abbey.
