Join us for the 2023 Missenden Abbey Christmas Market on Sunday the 3rd of December from 12 am to 4 pm. You can enjoy a range of craft and gift stalls, children’s entertainment, food stalls and much more.

What’s On

Craft and Gift Stalls

Come and support some local businesses and browse through a huge selection of craft and gift stalls. Perhaps you’ll find some last-minute Christmas gifts for your loved ones.

There will be everything from seasonal gifts, accessories, children’s toys, candles, jewellery and much more.

Children’s Entertainment

This year we will be welcoming a number of characters from your children’s favourite books and films. They will be walking around the grounds and taking pictures. We may even get a visit from the big man himself so listen out for those sleigh bells!

Food & Refreshments

You’ll be spoilt for choice for food selections, with options including pizza, pasta, Greek cuisine, hot doughnuts, festive cakes and more. Our bar will also be available to purchase refreshments throughout the day.

Amusements

Enjoy a range of amusements including the merry-go-round, bungee jump trampolines and more.

Additional Information

  • Access through the Great Missenden High Street will be closed on the day due to the Artisan Christmas Market taking place. Therefore, we recommend parking in either the Buryfield Car Park, Link Road Car Park (HP16 9AE), or Great Missenden Train Station (HP16 9AZ). These car parks are accessible via either the Link Road off of the A413 or through Prestwood on the A4128.
  • Limited parking will also be available at the Misbourne School (HP16 0BN), accessible via the London Road off of the A413. Please note that parking will NOT be available in the Abbey grounds.
  • Dogs are allowed on the grounds but are not allowed inside the Abbey. Please ensure they are manned at all times and are on leads at all times. Please be aware the majority of the Christmas Market will take place inside the Abbey.
  • Cash and card payments are accepted across the market. We cannot guarantee that all stalls will accept both forms of payment, so please ensure you have access to both.
  • Please ensure you read the terms and conditions. By purchasing a ticket, you accept the terms and conditions.
  • Missenden Abbey is a wheelchair-friendly venue. Accessible toilets are available on-site.
  • We strongly advise you to purchase your tickets in advance of the day. Tickets will be available to purchase at the door.
