“Helen & Douglas House helps local families cope with the challenges of looking after a terminally ill baby or child who will die prematurely.
Helen & Douglas House is a homely place for local children, living with life-limiting and terminal conditions, and their families. We provide care in a warm, loving environment. Our hospice is filled with laughter, whilst also being a peaceful place where families can create happy memories in their last days, weeks, months or years together.”

  1. Friendly dogs are very welcome! However, please ensure they are kept on a lead at all times. Dogs are only permitted on the Abbey grounds and not inside the building. Owners are kindly asked to clean up after their pets.
  2. Both cash and card payments will be accepted throughout the fair. However, not all stalls may support both payment methods, so we recommend bringing both forms to avoid any inconvenience.
  3. Missenden Abbey is a wheelchair-accessible venue. The majority of the fair will be held on the front lawn, with indoor access available via the main Reception. Accessible toilet facilities will be available on site.
  4. To guarantee entry, we strongly recommend purchasing tickets in advance. Tickets may be available on the door, but this is subject to availability.
  5. Parking will not be available on the Abbey grounds. Visitors can park at The Misbourne School, along the High Street, at the train station, or in Buryfields Car Park – all just a short walk from the venue.
