Our Festive Illuminations trail is back by popular demand and it’s bigger and better than ever before. Take a journey through our woodland where the trees and stream will come alive with twinkling lights, projection tunnels, giant swings and dazzling lasers. Stop at our pit stops along the way for hot drinks, mulled wine and sweet treats. Our promise for the perfect evening out to make memories last a lifetime.

(Tickets must be pre-booked in advance. Booking fees apply. Entry slots are every 30 minutes and you can choose your time slot upon booking (subject to availability).
 
– Please note, the trail takes between 20 – 30 minutes. Food and drink will also be available to purchase.
– A selection of stallholders will also be present during peak times.

FAQ's

The illuminations trail will take approximately 20 – 30 minutes to go round.

There is free parking on site. However please note, spaces are limited. There is additional parking along the high street or at Great Missenden train station, just a short walk away from the Abbey.

The trail is outdoors and goes through our woodland, it is open to and not protected from the weather. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear and don’t forget your umbrella!

No the event will still go ahead in the case of bad weather so please dress appropriately and bring those wellies!

Dogs are permitted in the grounds, however they must be on a lead at all times. They are not permitted inside. Please do not leave dog waste bags on the ground, they must be disposed of in the bins provided.

Yes, a selection of food and drink stalls will be available during and at the end of the trail.

Tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable. However, if you are unable to attend, you are welcome to gift your tickets to a family member or friend.

Yes, carer tickets are available to purchase at a reduced rate of £10.

Whilst we try to be fully inclusive, the trail does go through our woodlands. Unfortunately standard wheelchairs will not be suitable. We would recommend a wide wheeled wheelchair to be used. The path is gravelled with an inclined and declined surface so assistance will be required. Unfortunately our staff are not able to help you with this. Please note the trail ranges from 1metre – 2metres in width.

We ask all guests to mindful of other guests whilst going through the trail. Hand sanitising stations will also be available. We’re continuing to monitor government advice and will ensure that health and safety measures adhere to the guidelines in place at the time of the event.

If you, or someone in your group becomes unwell with symptoms of Covid-19, we ask that you do not attend the event. Please contact us as soon as possible and we will look to reschedule your booking for a new date/time, subject to availability.

Tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable. If you can no longer attend due to Covid symptoms on your booked day, we will look at moving your booking to an alternative date/time.

If you feel uncomfortable being photographed, please let the event organisers know on the day of the event. If you feel uncomfortable whilst being filmed, then please politely ask the camera operator to stop.
