Dear guests,
As we continue to provide the best possible experience for our guests, we are introducing some changes to our operations during the month of February.
To ensure we are running as efficiently as possible, we have made the decision to temporarily close the hotel diary for all Sunday evenings and Mondays throughout February. This will affect all services including, guest bedrooms, conferences, and Monday afternoon teas. This adjustment is part of a trial period designed to help us optimise operations during quieter times, ensuring we can continue to deliver exceptional service where it’s needed most.
What does this mean for guests?
Sunday evenings:
The hotel will not accept new bookings for Sunday night stays during the month of February. Guests currently booked in for a Sunday night will be contacted in advance to discuss alternative arrangements.
Mondays:
The hotel will remain closed, there will be limited staffing and reduced services available. The restaurant and kitchen will not be operational, and we will not be hosting conferences or events on Mondays. We will reopen as normal and will resume all services at 07:00 Tuesday mornings.
Why are we making this change?
The decision was made after carefully reviewing our business operations during this period. We’ve noticed that the demand for rooms and services on Sundays and Mondays is significantly lower compared to other days of the week. This trial closure allows us to focus our resources more effectively and ensure we are delivering exceptional value to our guests on busier days.
How will this impact future stays?
This closure is being introduced as a trial for February, and we will carefully monitor its impact before making any decisions about extending it into future off-peak months. Our priority is always to provide the highest standard of service to our guests, and we will ensure that any adjustments are communicated well in advance.
